1999 arctic cat 500 4x4

i got a 1999 arctic cat 500 4x4 and i dont know what gear fluid to use anybody know?

Anything that's "HYPOID" or (GL-5) compatible should work. I use AMSOIL 75-90 severe gear synthetic in all my CATS.

Carefull not to overfill or you'll blow seals. The newer quads like mine take 8oz rear & 9oz front.

ok how do i know when its time to change i dont got a mile gauge or hr gauge what color signals its bad?
