25" tires would be pushing it. i put 25" swamp lites on my wifes 08' we had and actually had to trim the rear fender wells to stop it form rubbing.

Was that do to width or the height? 25x8x12 may work out better than 25x9x12. Also lug size matters, a tire with a standard 7/8" lug may work better than a more agressive 1-1/8" lug.

I tried bigger tires on my 400HO & didn't like it. Lost too much top end and bottom end "crawl speed" was faster than I wanted.

WOW ,my 350 Big Bear came stock with 25" tires, You would think a 455 ATV would handle them without working a sweat.

Remember though, the 400HO has no L & H, just F,N, & R.

The CVT is governed by RPM and forward speed, so the bigger diameter tire limits the top end ratio on the CVT.

these weren't the front tires that was the issue. they are the rear tires beleave it or not.

notice how close the rear tire is to the fender. every bump she hit it would rub so i just trimmed the fender flare to fix the issue. fornt is close but fits w/ out issue.

Hey thanks for all the feed back. Stendori or Mongrol how did you find the power with the bigger tires was there a big loss? I was thinking about going with the 25" MUD LITE ATs. It is the wifes bike and she is only about 110lbs so it not carrying alot of weight and have you had any problems with the clutch? I would think if Mongrol could run the tracks on his the clutch would be ok.
