I was reading this month's ATV Action mag about using a panty hose over
the radiator to keep any mud for plugging the rad fins. Anyone done that before? lol

i could be wrong, but it seems tome it would get plugged extremly fast unless they shread mud some how.

 

I agree with stendori. I do use pantyhose on the air filter for my cummins to keep bugs and debris from getting down into the pleats.(lots cheaper than a prefilter and breathes better) Which makes it alot easier to clean and re-oil. But on a rad?

I tried fish-net stockings................But the mud still went on the RAD......LOL.......................Caper.......... ....

 

Joe Namath used to wear panty hose under his NY Jets uniform to act as a thin set of long johns on cold game days. Can't say I ever tried it myself but I guess it makes sense.
