umm no, the whole point is to make a blaster beat a 300ex buying a 400ex is cheating

 

OK! Put a 400ex motor in your Blaster frame. Or even better yet a yx426f. Problem solved.

 

That would be a yZ426f not x!

 

that would still be using more displacement, i want a 200 to be faster than a 300, do you know what would happen with a 426 in a blaster, that would be faster than a raptor and about half as stable

 

O1MXBLASTER my friend has a 2001 300ex with a FMF MegaMax Exauhst and Header, K&N Filter,and 20 inch Holeshots. My Mods on my Blaster are listed below in my Signature. I waste his 300ex every single time we drag race in the desert. So if you want to be faster than a 300ex get the mods I got and more.

 

thanks, but whats the highest gear your blaster will raise up in with the 1 tooth bigger sprocket

 

It will stay to 6th

 

What mods do you have now? If he didn't change his sprocket, he has already reduced his gearing with the smaller tires.

Mill the head for more compression, and a little power.

Try a 1 tooth larger front sprocket.

With higher gearing you should be able to pull him in a long race, but I am not sure how you will do off the line.
