I've done this before but I was on this plywood ramp I built...I go on it and locked up the front brakes and started out in 1'st and went all the way up to 5'th....them tires were smokin' !! I had to stop b/c I was thinking that wood was about to catch on fire....sure smelt like it...anybody ever smoke the tires on asphault or anything..I try to but when I do it I just push my front wheels...I can't stay in one spot....

yea, you can do that on any quad just about.. wood does not give you too much traction. Especially when moist.

My neighbor has a built (severly modded out) banshee and we can do donuts on dry pavement (when we feel like wearing out tires)

I'm sure that's good for your clutch.

i can take my kawaaski lakota out on the rode on dry pavement and i can power brake it and it will burn the back tires till they begin to smoke. My cauzin had a 2001 banshee and ehrn you were rollen in first gear it would spin the tires on dry pavement but it wasent much.

If you want to smoke tires on the rode simply pour about 2 quarts of regular oil on the cement and lean foward and you can sit there and smoke all day. Saw it on Blastercentral.com

Here's a coupple tips, stand up and lean all your weight forward so your pressing up against the bars and that should make your front end stay put. Also put that armorall tire shine on your treads it might tell you not to do it but it sure as all heck makes your tires slick. Have fun!

One day my cousin his buggy and I had just got back from a mx track.I unloaded my 250r and took off up the road.I came back turned around on my road and was not using the front brakes just leaned forward a little and gasses it and shifted real fast.It was going about 25 and the tires where SMOKING.He was like how did you do that!I don't know but it was awesome.

The only thing was my dad was lookin out the WINDOW!he wasn't very happy.
