Default 03 Scrambler 50 OIL Question

Can I use AMS Interceptor Synthetic 2-Cycle Oil in my scrambler 50? A friend of mine claims this oil has alot less smoke and is the best you can get for oil injected machines

Thanks

We use Amzoil injector oil on our 90, no issues. Recommend you drain the oil tank of the current oil and refill with pure amzoil, don't mix it.
Make sure you also adjust the injector cable so that when you press the throttle the slide in the carb starts to move before the injector lever on the pump. Typically from the factory it's the other way around and that is why thy smoke so much. At low RPM's you barely need any oil.
Premix on our race machines we have run all the way to 100:1.

Look for a threaded adjuster (a fat section) in the injector cable covered by a rubber sheath. If there is one, it's going to be between where the injector cable joins the throttle cable and where the injector cable goes into the bottom of the fan shroud...
Peel the rubber sheath back and loosen the jam nut (8mm or 10mm wrench) turn the adjuster in so it gives the cable more slack.

Pop the air box boot off the carb so you can watch the throttle slide for movement.
