I'll be taking delivery on a new Rubicon later this week. Now, stock is never good enough...so what is the consensus on what the best tires for this thing are? Need em' for mud...the nasty kind.

Thanks for the lead. I've looked at the outlaws on their website. They look pretty awsome. What are your thoughts on the vampire's? I could get into those for a little less money, but I'm always cautious about saving money and regretting it later. Also, I'd like to stay with my stock wheels if possible. Do you know what tire sizes will fit with the stock wheels?
thanx bud...

I'm waiting for a shootout with the Mudzillas before I do anything.

The vamps are great too. I have them on our Rancher. You can get any major brand tire to fit on stock wheels. You may run into trouble with them rubbing the fender supports up front, but HL makes a kit to fix this. You may also run into them rubbing the exhaust. Spacers will fix this and HL carries them too.

I fit 27in Titan 589s on my stock rubicon rims and they fit great with no rubbing at all. They work great in the snow but I assume they will work well in mud also.
