well i havent been on in a long time but just wanted to let ya know. my son has moved to the moore powered lt80. the throttle is limited but hes still doing around 25 mph. he says he likes it because it will slide in the corners!!!!! lol. he just turned 5. and been riding a 50cc for 3 years. so he was ready. battery died so im looking to get a pull starter. damn batterys dont last for nothing... so again thanks for the smiles from my son. worth the world to me..

Have you checked your stator output?

My son rides a 1988 LT80 with a bone stock charging system running an aftermarket headlight (35w) and grip warmers. Its using a cheapy generic battery from the local independent dealer. That thing has NEVER failed to start......and we done plenty of below zero riding in the winter. Thats battery is 2 years old and still going.
