Default Polaris 350l shift linkage (pic please)

I purchased a 94 polaris 400 with a 93 350l trasmissin. The transmission shift patterns are different. The guy mickey moused the shifter on there. I picked up a 350l shifter of ebay and wondering where it mounts to on the frame. If anyone can take a pic for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have all parts to the shift assy? Cable, spring, cable plate, lockout plate? If not can be a little complicated to make it work properly. The 350 shifter has a lock button feature on the shifter and was discontinued on the 94 and up models, plus the trans was different. Just guessing, but tranny was probably changed out because of the problem with shift forks. Under warranty I replaced a lot of redesigned shift fork and gear assys on the 94 transmissions because of shifting problems. Can't think of another reason previous owner swapped trannies unless he blew the 94?? OPT

Looks like you have it all by the picture. Remember the red button has to feel tight after you lock in gear or will grind! The bracket at the end with the cable mounts at bottom of brake caliper. Easiest way I found to shift on these models was to swing shifter out just before the gear slot on the frame, then release button and then drop in gear. The red **** usually locked up better, engaging the gear. I know you don't have the gear slot, but hopefully will work. OPT
