I have a slight problem ! I just did a rebuild on my sons 2006 pedator 90 . I installed new piston and rings . I took clutch cover off and cleand clutch and starter gears. Now hear is the problem when I put it all back together it runs fine and revs in neutral but when I put it in gear the neutral light stay on and it wont rev and it baerly moves . Also when put in revers the revers light does not come on the neutral light is on. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be the problem? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

 

you sure you have the shifter handle on correctly?

 

I did double check the shifter to make sure it was going into gear by lifting up the rear with a jack so the tires would spin freely. when in gear tires would spin but does not have power when given gas.What I mean is that I could stop the tire with my foot. When I put shifter into revers it would go in revers with some power.
