Default gator secondary 6x4

I have a secondary off of an 2002 6x4 with stripped rivets on one side, does anyone know how to take the secondary apart, and can I get parts for it.

Thanks

If you are stout enough, you can twist (one sheave one direction and the other sheave the other direction) and at the same time hold it compressed, you can then release the snap ring. However you need to be extremely carefull that it doesn,t release all at once and take your head off. May take two people.
Normally you need a compression tool. Maybe find someone that has one for snowmobiles or check with the local atv shop.
As far as parts you need to contact a John Deere dealer.
If you need part numbers I may be able to look them up for you in my gator parts book.

Sorry Axbe
Got to checking the manual on 6X. Different than 4X.
Remove the secondary, with a screw-driver, take the tension off the spring. Remove the set screw and with a 3 jaw puller pull off the helix. It is press fit on the shaft.
Make sure before you pull off the helix that the alignment marks are half aligned so you know where to put them back.
Hope this helps.
