Question 97 blaster 200cc no spark

i have a 97 200cc blaster, kick start, and i have no spark. the coil is good (i know this because we jumper wired it from a car battery and touched the wire.) where else could i look? and could it be a faulty on off switch on the handle bars? if so how could i find out? could i by pass it completely by putting a toggle switch?

Stator, CDI, Switch..... Pretty much what's left other than spark plug....

The stator coil is known to be a "quitter" on these things.... You can buy the whole new stator or just buy a coil for the ignition side..... I had one quit completely while riding it one day.... About a mile later of pushing the damn thing I was almost ready to part with it..... Lucky it was a flat field, cause it was 100 degrees that day.

One other thing to do a solid check on, is the ground wire at the spark plug coil under the Tank..... Corrosion will drop your spark if there's enough of it there.

the ground is deffinately fine. ive checked and cleaned it all up. the last time i rode it, it died, but i didnt think anything of it, because it died loading it on trailer. ill order a new coil and wire, and see if that works. i need new wire anyway.
thanks
