Well,my Recon just went up for sale in the local paper because we got kicked out of every place there is to ride in this state, and we got two $60 tickets in a row.One Saturday and one Sunday, both by the same DEP officer.Oh well C.T. stinks. If anyone owns land in CT's and is reading this.Me and my friends will sign any insurance waivers you want to let us ride on it.

i live in ct to and i goota agree it sux no places to ride and the cops r always yeling at u. theres a couple of places around here i live in wallingford but u just ride in the same place and thats what makes people call the cops.we have never been stopped by the cops. theres actually 5 cops in our riding group and if we do ever get stoped they said they can take care of it.

i agree
CT sucks for any offroad activities. i heard the second time your caught they impound the vehicle? what did he say to you? was he being a jerk? theres alot more problems with CT than offroaders. i risk it. i dont see the snowmobiles ever getting tickets thou? i usualy have guys flag me over to warn me if there on the tracks. it may sound weird but we have no choice in CT but to ride illegal. we all dont own 100 acres

Question for you. Does Ct require you to purchase an OHV sticker? If it does, what is the money that is collected used for? Just curious in Idaho..

No,they don't impound the vehicle.According to the DEP officers,as long as you keep paying the $60 unregistered ATV fee, then you don't get points on your license and thats all.

Thats the Irony of it all. This state requires that you register the ATV,pay yearly property taxes on the ATV,but does not offer any legal riding areas. You guys out west sure do have it good!CT and it's bean counting talking head politicians stink.
