Hi to all.I received some info here several months ago, and although we did not get the job, we were correct in our diagnosis, thanks to the info provided here. I need to have some service info for the Polaris/Warn winch installed on a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO. It appears to be installed from the factory, although my boss says it wasn't. It doesn't look to me like any type of Warn Installs I ever did, which were, BTW, all on '07-'09 Yamaha ATVS. I always did a nice job, no crimp-on conn., etc, but this Polarise I have in the shop looks like it came from Polaris with this winch installed, so I'm looking for factory info.

 

I am not sure what year they started doing this but now Polaris pre wires the power leads from the factory so all you have to do is hook the wires to the relay and then connect it to the battery after you run wires to winch and mount the switch. Hope this points you in the right direction
