Would it be good on the trials? Or what is the deal with it? Is a just a race quad or could I use it for both?

 

If you want a 450 trail bike the KFX450 with reverse would be the way to go! Im a Yamaha guy but know better than choosing a 450 for a premium trail quad. Besides, that is what the Raptor 700 is for!

 

Thanks man like every tuesday night and my local track it is opened to 4 wheelers if I had a 700 Raptor would it still work up there every once in awhile.

 

I'm with hemi the yfz is really a racing quad.. it's got more ***** than the celtics locker room..

 

The Raptor IMO is the best all around Sport quad made! It is capable of doing ANYTHING you want a sport quad to do. The difference is if you are going to be mainly riding tracks you probably want a dedicated racer and that is where the 450's steps in. If you want a turn key quad to ride anywhere the Raptor wins hands down If you want a quad that needs TLC and one you will need to wrench on a 450 is the way to go!

Will it take a z400 too?

 

With the right rider there are only 3 current stock MFG sport quads a Raptor wont beat and all three have a KTM motors in them Modified I would put the Raptor up against any other 4 stroke out there in strait line/sand drag racing!

you are a little biased hemi the raptor is good but i still like the 450's and my trx holds it's own on the trails.
