Question clutch doesn't seem to be shifting right

07 500 sportsman, when taking off from a stop it doesnt upshift until I let off the gas a touch( Like when you shift a motorcycle with out clutching) but then she takes right off. Do ya think this is normal? I have a clutch kit in it with a white primary spring and a black 2ndary as well as 27'' mud lites, 10's on front and 12's on the rear. Been thinking about going to a red primary after talking to epichad to get quicker engagement but then I'll lose some off the top speed but not sure how much and not sure if this would be the cure either, so anyone got any suggestions or answers?? Thnx in advance.

It could be the characturistics of the kit but if it has a high engagement and then comes on it should shift all the way through without letting off the throttle. Did you put in a new belt and what about weights with your kit. Also, I am sure some of the people on here can give you some more help if they knew what brand of kit you installed.
I wonder if your secondary is hanging up some how?
