Default Lift kit?

I own a 09 xp 550 and i'm thinking about getting a two inch lift kit and bigger wheels and tires. Will I need bigger shocks as well?(I just put on new ones). Will I need to do anything else? how about just bigger wheels and tires? No real reason for this stuff I guess, just bored. Any input helpful. Thanks

You can generally go up an inch in tire size without lifting. At least 2 with a small lift. Shocks should be fine unless you want to beef it up a bit with stiffer springs but with that you will have a stiffer ride. A winch can take care of the rest and save on your drivetrain from going really big on tires. Also would look at clutching with bigger tires. More low end pull and will eleviate clutch slippage in nasty stuff.
