Question 2006 sportsman 450?

I just purchased a 2006 sportsman 450 it has 34 hrs on it. The thing started up fine one day then the next i ride a mile then it shuts off. The quad just cranks, i tried to pull start it and it will not start. I checked spark and it looks like there is none, it is getting fuel. This quad was taken care of and all i did was ride slow on gravel. What could it be? I put a new plug in and a new battery but she still will not start?

First the was a recall on the ECM module box for that year(I have two of them).
Second if there is no spark, It happened to me out on the trail once also.
My issue at the time was the RED engine kill switch, Full of dust and dirt, Had to take apart and clean,NOTE,,,, DON"T take it apart over the grass or lawn, I lost the small steel roller ball and took a long time to find, It's a pain to take apart and clean, You can check it first by moving the switch slowly back and forth to see if conact gets made........This switch will cut off spark to the motor.....Caper........

Also these Quads have a choke cable the push/pull lever on the driver info pod..............If the cable is worn or stuck it will be hard to start ,but you should still have spark with this issue,.......Keep us up to date we will get it going for you.....

Were your headlights on when it shut off?
Low or high beam?......If "YES" try and start it with the lights turned to the "off" position?
If this works it's your ECM module...
.....Caper.......

thanks for the warm welcomes! when I got home i tried the whole light on light off thing and still it wont run. So I dropped her off at the dealer to get repaired. I think the ecm was updated cause its the silver metal one? I hope I made the right choice with Polaris, I always thought these were pretty indestructible so my guess is it's something really dumb! Will keep you all updated
