Drive clutch puller

Default Drive clutch puller

Anybody know the OEM number for the drive clutch remover for a 2000 sportsman 500?I need it so I can get the correct one,thanx

you could just make your own out of a 3/4" fine thread long bolt. if not i would buy an aftermarket puller as it would be alot cheaper then oem. imo

+1 Go to your local hardware and find a long bolt or pick up a 8-12" piece of 3/4 fine thread rod and a couple bolts at one end to put a wrench on.

Ok thanks, so I just thread it in to the clutch and the clutch should just pop off?

using an imapck is the easiest. sometimes you have to put pressure on it then hit it w/ a hammer if it's been along time.

I have not tried it myself yet, but I have read to fill the hole that the puller goes in with grease. That is supposed to help push the clutch off when the grease is compressed. That way hopefully you don't have to use a hammer. It may work but I don't like the idea of hammering on anything that has bearings.
