I bought a venom last year for my grizzly with snow plow. had a gear box issue, but it was under warentee. they were very easy to work with and have had no problem with it after it was fixed/replaced.

Bought an xtreme this time to try the rope, was very disapointed when it came with cable on spool and rope in bag (not like in pic). Both units were not easy to mount, had to resize some holes to make fit. mounted it on a 2010 800 sportsman. The relay would not work with factory installed wiring, with out modifiying the relay (grinding on the plastic). could not find info on how to wire with factory wires and had not run across this forum yet. Figured it out and works fine, will have to see how it performs this winter.

Good Luck

I purchased of these over a year ago. Great winch for the money. I use it all the time for plowing. With the money I saved vs getting a Warn I was able to get Ricochet a arm guards. VIPER ELITE 3500LB Winch

I have to agree with XP, no more then I use it, it is the best walue for the dollar. If I made my living with the wench, I might have to re-think it. But when you save the money, it usually cost you some where else. The over all fit of the parts did cost me time in putting it all together, but that is the fun part, making it all work.
