Can anyone help with the problem of engine stalling when throttle is released. There is a electrical swith in the throttle housing that seams to cut power to the engine. I believe it is just an adjustment to the throttle cable needed. I do not have a repair manual yet as I just purchased the machine.

Thanks, can you tell me where I would measure the gap in the cable as I do not have a repair / service manual yet.

Just remove all the slack.

you'll need to remove the black plastic cover on the handlebar, look inside and yooiu will see 2 wires with contacs, they most likely are touching, adjust the cable so that there is 1/16 to 1/8 in. gap . you will see that slack adjutment in the cable about halfway down the handlebar. this adjustment needs to be readjusted at each time the engine idle is changed.

If it was mine I would do away with it. It is just something else to screw up.

I think you are right. Sometimes electronic problems are hard to track down and fix. Thanks for the reply.
