Default 2000 polaris 325 trail boss specs.

i was wanting to get specifications for a 2000 model Polaris 325 trail boss.

For example oil type/weight, oil capacity and such.

any info on the 325 trail boss would be great.

Thank you

Two quarts. Any good synthetic oil is fine. I use and reccomend Castrol Syntec 5w50. Use it in the trans also.

Oil on these NEEDS to be 0w40.This is due to cold start up and cam and crank problems in the past.I would stay with Polaris fluids no more than you have to change them. Also use Polaris AGL fluid in the tranny. The tranny is actually a chain case and needs proper lubrication. If not Polaris AGL use a good synthetic chain case lube.

Polaris engine oil is OK but it is not as good as most other name brand oil. If you insist on using it change it at 40 hours and not a minute longer.
