2004 Bruin carb problem
#1
Having a problem with the idle taking a long time to return back to the proper rpm's after you rev it up. I have checked the throttle mechanism and it returns back to the stop no problem. The slide is not sticking and returns fine. The plastic nut on the starter (choke) was broke so I replaced that. It does work fine if the choke is on so my only guess is the pilot jet. The previous owner had the carb rebuilt and all was well until the last time I parked it I ran it until the gas ran out and have had this problem ever since. Any Ideas? Thanks

That sounds like a cloged pilot jet. Take it out and clean it. even if you can see light through it run a small wire like a bread tie wire through it and spray carb cleaner through it have you noticed it popping on decelaration or when going down hill just a small amount of dirt can clog these jets
