Default New tires for 2011 850 XP

I was told by 2 Polaris dealers that my new 2011 850 XP will take 27" tires on the stock rims without any rubbing issues due to the fact that they reversed the sway bar. Is this true? Anyone tried new rubber on the 2011's?

Yes I believe your right PCL, just wondering if anyone has tried the bigger tires without any issues on the stock rims.

Yes, they changed the sway bar and larger tires will fit on the 2010 and 2011. It's more than just reversed, it is entirely new set up.

The 09's need the sway bar mod and they will clear most tires on stock wheels.

27" XTR's on stock wheels on my '09, used 1" spacer's in the rear to clear swaybar. You should have no problems on the '11 model.

Great, thanks everyone for the reply. It is about time Polaris did something where we can use stock wheels without issues with the larger rubber.

I've got 27" bighorns on my 2010 850 touring and have no problem with them.
