Default What kind of plows are you guys running on your Outlanders?

I've got an '07 Outlander 800 and I've been running my 50" Eagle plow from my old Polaris on it, but i'm thinking of upgrading for next winter. Just wondering who is running what and if you like it of not. Is anyone on here running the Mibar Power-Lift system? Kinda interested in how that works. Seems like a good idea, since it would actually apply down pressure on the blade. Thanks for any feedback guys.

I have a 60" Kimpex Click & Go blade on my 2011 Outlander 800. It works really well, it takes about 10 seconds to put on. Even faster to remove.

52" cycle country - I've pushed a lot of snow this winter and it's been great.

I had a 60" eagle plow up until 2 weeks ago- worked great for the first 2 - 3 snow storms- I sold the plow set up and bought a nice snowblower- My poor outty was getting beat to hell plowing snow every week and I also ran into the problem of having no where to push the snow to! The snow blower throws it, so it's not an issue any more- I looked into getting an atv snowblower, but they were around $2500- ya right!

I have a 60" Bombardier from my '04 Outy 400 (which had plenty enough power to push it), and which I now have on my '09 Outy 650. I would not recommend this plow - at least not with the big lever that allows you to adjust the angle from the seat. It freezes up all the time, and so you may as well just adjust the angle manually (after you unstick that manual mechanism, too!) The plow itself certainly does the job - I can plow 8" or so not problem, and even more if it is fluffy. And it is fast - very fast compared to a blower (which I now have on my tractor). It's just that with a blower you never run out of room, because the snow is displaced rather than just pushed to the side where it eventually builds up, and also you can blow much deeper snow.

I would get a warn plow - they are supposed to work very well. And don't get anything less than 60" wide.

Good luck with it!
