Default 2005 blaster oil injection

i apologize for contantly asking questions but this is the only place i can receive good information, as usual i am looking for a quad. i just found a 05 blaster this may be the one i buy but my only hold back is that the oil injection was removed, i have heard two different things, that it is a good thing to do as the injector frequently goes bad and i have also heard that its a cheap way for people to gain horse power but i don't exactly know what the cons of doing it are. any information is appreciated thanks again

No cons to speak of other than the pain of premix sometimes rejetting is needed but this was probably done already

The only cons I had are the same.... Having to mix the fuel yourself,.... and one other,..... If you're not perfect on your mix, it smokes a bit more than with the oil injection system.... I run mine on Mixed fuel. No horsepower gain that I know of, but an FMF Pipe and can have made a huge difference in mine (No other major mods) and I could do more if I want without worrying whether the oil mix is good for the Performance upgrades....

I have a 2000 blaster that I have NOT babied...i would not even think of selling it for $1100. I doubt I could get any more, lol, but the thing is just too much fun to ride. Bang for the buck they are good little quads. I have the FMF pipe and can, reeds, jetted correctly, 14/40 sprockets....when i need a top end build I plan to go 240, but I am leaving well enough alone for now. SO, basically yes it should be $1100 well spent.
