Default 2005 500 sportsman electric trouble

My 2005 500 sportsman is having some electrical problems. Sometimes when I go to start it there is no power speedo doesn't light up or anything. It is like the battery is unhooked. Try it in a couple of hours and it will start right up . It has done this about 5 times now. Could it be the box up front under the top head light. The bike had the recall done on it.

Maybe a bad connection in the RED kill switch(Middle/side left/slide right)

I had no power to my quad and the switch needed cleaning.
If I remember correctly there was no power anywhere when this acted up on me.......Caper...........

I actually had this same problem on my motorcycle... it turned out to be the factory connection for the headlight relay, I realized this AFTER I had replaced a couple hundred dollars worth of good stuff.... I have also had (somewhat) dirty connections in the kill switch too... I would check EVERY connection and switch until you figure it out.
