2005 700 sportsman ebs problem

2005 700 sportsman ebs problem
My friend held his brake down and drove for a few miles he thought he had a flat tire but found out his brake was on. Now the ebs is not working and it makes a grinding noise firm the clutch when he stops. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it. Thanks
