Default Polaris CV Question

Will a real CV off a 2004 500 fit a 2009 500 sportsman??

Not sure if they changed anything but go to a dealer's site or bikebandit.com. Should be able to cross reference part #'s there.

actually its for my 2010 800 but i know the cv's off my now sold 09 500 would fit..I Just got a killer deal on a cv on ebay for 40bucks!! Just askin

i beleave the 800's are a heavier cv shaft then the 500's even though they will fit. imo

Anytime I Had to take in my 500 or 800 they always said they where the same cv's..I Was just wondering if they had the same cv's in 04??

if you go by polaris parts, the 04'(built after 11/24/03)they will fit 04-05' sp. 400 through 800's. if built before that date they will fit 03-04' same models(no 800 as they werent made until 05')
