Default hawkeye 300

I have snorkled my air box, and the belt drive. Can someone help me with why i am still getting water in my carb ? It is cutting out and spitting . The moter still must be getting water in it becuase it cuts off when I get deep

There is a red drain plug below the air box see if its still there , make use the air box lid has a tight fit with a good seal.

If water gets by the pull rope handle and down the rope hole into the recoil cover water will get on the stator and pick up coil and cause some grief, I silicone my handle rope handle down in place.

had no drian plug below the air filter I cut a stick and silaconed the heck out of it and then replaced it with a plug and sealed it up tight. I will try the pull cord as well

also the hawkeye has a carb. you have changed the air intake of the carb by putting the snorkel on so you need to change the jets in the carb. on mine i had to go one size bigger main jet and used the same size of the other jet, i dont remember its name lol.
