ds450 shocks an 6fiddy?
#1
Thinking bout grabbing a set of ds450 front shocks for my 650.They are about the same length(19.5in)and they have the reb and comp adjustments.I was thinking why pay $400 for a set of non adjustable works when i can get new ds450 takeoffs for $250 or so.I know the 650 weighs more but with the adjustments i should be able to make them work ,its not like im racin, just play ridin so i should be good, anybody try these? Please no stories about exceeding balljoint travel because everybody still puts yfz suspension on banshees...good enough for play ridin..lol

should work great and if you cant get them stiff enough rebuild is always an option. I have a raptor 700 elka on the rear and some 17.5inch floats on the front the floats are from a arctic cat sled and my bike is working great in the rough stuff and sits lower for better high speed turning. Those ds450 shocks will be a good choice for somebody looking for full travel and a good price upgrade.

its funny you mention sled,i was looking at some ohlins shocks off a sled awhile ago for my banshee, ended up putting them on hold..got side track.Yeah they can be had for a good price if you know what your looking for.Quad shocks like elka or axiss are other high end aftermarket are expensive!so rappy 700 rears fit our bikes eh?
