Default 2007 400 Arctic Cat misses when in gear..

Now let me see if I can explain the problem. I have a 07' 400 4x4 automatic. It misses like it has a rev limiter when it is in gear and accelerating at any speed. But it will run great when I rev the engine while it is in neutral. I have checked all the command things like filters, spark plug, carb, trash or water in fuel, ect.. I even swapped the CDI from another 07' that I bought at the same time and are the same models. Still did not correct the problem. I have been told that if the drive belt is slipping it will cause the rev limiter to engage. Any ideals on it would be helpful.
