Default NO AWD and no Gear Indication

I have a 2007 500 Sportsman EFI and recently when I shift into high or low gear I get no indication on the display.....also, along with this I have no AWD indication or operation.
I can still shift gears etc and everything seems to work fine. BUt no indication and no AWD.
I get indication for reverse and AWD works as normal when pressing in the overide button.
any ideas?

Most likely gear indicator switch on transmission is screwing up. Check for any damage to plastic face of switch, plus they can go out on their own. OPT

Just went through the same thing with my '08 500 EFI. Gear selector switch on the trans. 5 minute job and $60 from cheap cycle parts. Just add dielectric grease to the new one to help avoid it from happening again! There is also a resistor pack that is under the seat if it is not the switch itself. Mine was not the resistor, but it does happen. You can go through the troubleshooting on the speedo to see what the ohms reading is in the different gears and if high and low are wrong, it's your switch. Hope this helps.
