Hi!
I want to get a new quad and I'm wondering if the DS is good for me? I am about 5'8" and about 210lbs. The place that I've been riding with my friend on his 400ex has been on tight trails that has a lot of whoops and jumps. I was wondering if the DS can handle the kind of places that I ride in. The information that I need to know is how good the DS' handling is,do you get more tired turning the DS because it is so big, what is the stock top speed, etc. Thanks Dan

I rode mine for about 4-hours nearly consecutivly, and I noticed much less fatigue than riding my 1990 LT250R. The size really wont change wether or not it's difficult to steer, it's more to do with the overall design. My LT250R weighs about 100LBS. less than my DS, but the DS is much more of a plus ride. Also the fact it's a 4-stroke vs. a 2-stroke will have an advantage. I would advise a DS650 to anyone looking to buy a new quad. The Raptor is also a good ATV, however I like the DS' suspension and larger, more stable stance better. Also, the components of the DS650 are built very heavy duty from the factory so it should hold up for a long time to come.
