Default Draining

Hi, I have a 2000 artic cat 300 4x4. A couple of years ago I started having a problem where my battery would just drain for no reason. I went through a few new batteries and after getting tired of wasting the money on that i obviously need to fix it. Any suggestions?

Your voltage regulator. the 300s just seem to have that problem. Mine would be dead overnight due to a short in them. It as $85 back in 2001. if you can test it,id do that 1st,just incase im wrong, but im 95% sure thats what it is.
