Default Water res pissing out the cap

2001 ds650 brand new top end 11.5:1 je cometic top end kit omr carb mods Stock gearing radiator fan not installed

When I'm out riding coolant will shoot out the weephole in the coolant reservoir cap. What causes this? My overheat light never illuminated and the quad runs very strong. No water in oil. No oil in water. Plz help. Thanks.

It was missing when I got the bike. I have plans to get the one from ebay within a month.

i would try to run some water wetter or redline instead of just water alone. Its probably boing over.keep an eye out for head gasket leaks, could be pressurizing the system somewhat..

Does it only **** after riding for a while and it has warmed up, or will it do it cold at high RPM. If its the first then your probably overheating due to lack of fan and your overheat sensor is bad. If the later then you have a leak in your headgasket...

It only does it after riding a while. I figured it was just getting too hot. Will get a fan soon. Thanks for the help!
