Hello i am looking right now for an atv. I found a 1996 yamaha kodiak 400 4x4 and was wondering if it would handle the trails and some muding every so often. Also could someone tell me the top speed.

 

Well, I don't see how it wouldn't handle trails and mudding, as that is what utes are made for. As long as it is mechanically sound should be no problem. As for top speed, I don't know, but it is probably less than 55. Maybe even more like 45-50mph.

 

Well thanks for the reply. I havefound another atv it is a 1996 Yamaha wolverine 350 4x4 and i have the same questions about it. What one would you choose.
