Default KFX 80 rebuild

Did a engine rebuild on a kfx 80 due to a cracked case and I have a problem. The engine is put back together and spins freely. The problem is the engine spins freely until I put the spark plug in. Then the battery doesnt have enough power to turn the engine over. The piston is not hitting the spark plug and I have ruled out the battery. Any suggestions?

Your good,
Here is my latest issue. The quad starts right up and idles fine but when my son rides it around the yard it's lacking acceleration and throttle response. The quad has new piston/rings,rollers and belt. Any suggestions?

Thank you.
Sounds like a plugged jet or plugged pipe.

Will pull the carb tomorrow. Any chance the new belt could be bogging it down? The quad will continue to move forward when idling which it never did before.
Thank you for your assistance.

The belt won't cause a problem.
Did you service/check the clutchs while apart?

No, just replaced the rollers due to flat spots.
