2008 Sprotsman 800 overheating?

Default 2008 Sprotsman 800 overheating?
caming from a ride and my atv was overheating also saw that box above broke off the mount and was bang into the rad what is that box?

Only "box" I can think of near the radiator is the voltage regulator. Silver "box" with a bunch of wires?? OPT

yea thats the box.... could something inside of there broke when it was hitting the rad?

Check charging back to battery while running at an idle,if around 14 volts then regulator is ok. It can probably be remounted looking at the picture. Did it damage radiator? any leaks OPT
