i have the factory nerf bars on my 04 ds650 baja x. their pretty much junk and about ready to fall off, whats good for nerf bars, ive looked but dont see much thats good

 

Pro Armor! They dont make them for the DS, but you can get a set from the Z450 i believe it was...yea pretty sure... and they fit up to the DS, just have to mount the top heel guard into the plastics higher and adjust the foot peg mount onto the stock DS pegs, not to hard, check my pics as i did it to my '04 Baja X, came out AWESOME!

 

well im not really sure how much longer im gonna keep the ds so i didnt spend alot of money on nerf bars, picked up this set off, hope their decent

what year does the 450 have to be? I'm having the same prob I was lso looking at the ac front bumper. Does pro armor have any that match up?

 

I really wanna know which nerf bars you used. The ltr 450 pro armor nerfs are not the same as your pic. Neither are the ltz400 nerfs. It seems like the ktm450 pro armor nerfs are closest to what is on your ds
