Default 1997 Xplorer 500 rear drive

My machine is a 1997 Xplorer 500. I am in the process of replacing the boot that covers the slip joint on the rear drive shafts. I have a couple questions. First, I don't see a zerk fitting anywhere on the shaft to get grease into the slip joint. Do I just grease this up good before I put it back together and call it good? Second, the wheel bearing seems to have a little play in it, not even noticable when the wheel is on. Is this normal? If it needs to be replaced do I just pull the spring clip out of the carrier and the bearing should come out?

No grease fitting! Just pack the boot with a good marine grade lithium grease (Most tube grease is good enough now days). If bearing rolls smoothly with your fingers leave it in! To replace you have to remove the big circlip and best to heat the hub and press the bearing out(front to rear) and press the new one in,lot of work IF not necessary. OPT

Thanks, that kind of what I thought on both accounts. A second opinion can be a big help though!
