Default 1999 big bear will not start

I have a 1999 big bear 350. I can pull crank it but can not use the starter. I have replaced ther relay and the fuses. The netural light come on when the key is turned and the starter will turn if jumped across the relay. I tries jumping the push button and that did not work either. I have just about ran out of ideas and not sure if I am missing somthing simple. If anyone can help it would be great or if any one has a wire diagram or knows where I can get one that would help also. Thanks in advance.

if you can jump the solenoid posts and it'll crank, i would say replace the start button. at least check the wiring on it for tight connections, that could be it. but alas, you may have to replace it....

As Jaster94 suggested, if you jumped the starter button and nothing happened, then it may be fried/broken wire. Try to test the continuity while pressing down on the start button with a meter. No continuity = fried switch.

Thanks for the help. I was able to find a broken wire. fixed and now it cranks like a champ. Just wish I would have found it before I paid for a new relay. Oh well live and learn. Once again thanks a lot.

having a spare solenoid is not a bad idea. that could be a hidden blessing if your original fails out in the wooded trail and your ripcord gets broken.!
