Default 86 4-Zinger carb problems, need help

I am working on a 86 4-zinger 60 quad, my problem is that after running and shutting it off after about 15 mins it leaks fuel out of the carb drain hose and also will take fuel in the airbox. I have removed the carb, completely cleaned the carb, the float is in plastic float, it is not cracked or taking in fuel, I replaced the needle, I cleaned the seat where the rubber tip of the needle seats and I still have fuel coming out the back of the carb going into the airbox and draining out of the drain after about 15 mins after shutting off. The quad runs awsome but this problem is really starting to be a pain. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Dan

Either you need a new float assy. or your float height adjustment is too high. Could also be your bowl vent is plugged. blow through your vent tube with compressed air aand make sure float adjustment is correct.

Shut off the petcock before you shut off the engine. Let it run at idle for about 45 seconds, then shut off engine. This will at least cut down on the leaking until you figure out the issue.

I just worked on one of these for this problem this spring. The needle valve was a bit corroded on the body. made it just big enough it wouldn't seat well even though the rubber tip was in decent shape. After a little dremel polishing, it worked just fine.
