I am going to buy a pipe soon for my 400ex and don't know what to buy. I hear the White Bros is a good pipe and it won the pipe shootout in DW. I was talking to a guy who has supertrapp pipes, and said that they were one of the best pipes on the market. He said white bros e-series is a copy of the supertrapp. I trail ride and want more power and snap. I am also getting a K&N power kit. But Which pipe? Sugestions, and experiences with either of these pipes? What will last longer?(as in better quality) Thanks.

I just exchanged a FMF MegaMaxII for a Supertrapp IDS2. I feel the IDS2 is much better made. Installation was cleaner, better clamps, better quality discs (evenly spaced without compressing together), and thorough instructions on both installation and tuning basics. I put all 12 discs in, and the sound is perfect - a little throaty, but not raspy loud like the other. I'm not sure on the White Bros, but I'm very happy so far with the Supertrapp. With a Dynojet kit, the recommending jetting seems perfect for my altitude so far. I'd recommend it.

Both pipes are really good but i sugest checking out the Dirtwheels pipe shootout. Big gun is also another good system.
