Unhappy Kodiak boggs

Hey yall, im new to the forum and could use some help. I have a 2000 kodiak 400 and having some issuse. It all started with my winch burning up my cdi box and the bike sat for bout 7 or 8 months. So now i got the new cdi on it and i go to give it gasand it will rev up and then bogg. Iv cleaned the carb and have dipped it, it is spottless. It has plenty of flow on fuel but it almost acts like it starving for fuel but i dont think it is. Iv ran out of senerios so if anyonehas a thought let me know. Thanks guys.

since i don't know what kind of atmosphere it was stored in, have you checked for vacuum leaks in and around the carb? have you double checked the spark plug? my grizzly ran like hammered crap and finally wouldn't start. i changed the spark plug and BAM, all was/is well now.

Cool

Well i figured it out bout 8 last night. It was the rev limiter switch pull wire off and took it to ground and no more bogging. Pull the wire off ground and back to bogging.

No the handle bar is fine. The switch that I found was bad is located right under the air box, can't miss it.
