Default 2001 Sportsman 500 HO Lights?

Hey everyone! Got a question that I can't seem to find an answer for... I need the bulbs for the headlights on the rack (low beam?). The dealer wanted something like $26/bulb, but there has to be a less expensive alternative available... I read on here that a GE 894 may or may not work, there seemed to be quite a bit of controversy over this. Anyone had success? Failure with it? Or would you have any other suggestions?

I brought the stock bulb into O'Reilly and a friend that works there said he didn't have anything for it. Same with Fleet Farm. The most light I can get for the lowest price, safely, would be ideal.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you OPT. I'll check with NAPA and Auto Zone. (No Pep Boys here that I'm aware of...)

Take the old bulb with you to any good auto parts store and they should have them. Even our local Walmart keeps them.

No reason to pay the dealer this outrageous price.
