Default 04 Yamaha Blaster Wiring Question

Today I decided to put my slightly modded 1994 Blaster engine in an 04 frame that had a running motor in it. Swapped them out but the 04 has an extra green wire coming from the magneto. I have spark outside the cylinder and I'm getting fuel but the engine simply will not spark. Actually seems to be flooding out but I have never had a flooding issue with that engine. So I need to know what the green wire is for since I have nothing from my engine to plug into the harness. Do I need to use the coils from the 04 engine? Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you. From what I have been able to find, a newer engine can be used in an older frame by grounding the extra green wire that comes from the magneto on the 03 and up engines. However, I am using an older engine (1994, 4 wire mag) in a newer (2004) frame. So what, if anything, do I have to do with the green wire that comes out of the harness on the 04 Blaster. A wiring diagram would be appreciated.
