Default 2000 scrambler wierd spark problem

Please someone help??!! i can only get my 2000 500 scrambler to start if i pull the cap off the throtle and quickly tap the etc this circut is normaly open but the only way it will spark and run is if i quickly conect and disconect it ,, i have traced all wires down there is no short to be found anywhere,, checked all of the grounds to make sure im getting good contact .. also i disconted the black wire to the cdi box to see if it would start and still no spark unless it is hooked up and i quickly tap the etc throtle control

Welcome to the forum! First off do you have only about 1/8" slack at the throttle lever? If you have more than this, then the etc switch will be affected.Check it also for any corrosion, dirt, etc. Also did you try pulling the black wire off the reverse limiter module and not just the black kill wire from the cdi?If you've done all this, then the etc switch itself could be faulty,or you can have an ignition problem such as weak stator, cdi, coil, etc. You can also IF nothing else helps check the pulse coil and stator area for dirt/mud,etc. If none of this helps you may need to ohm out the electrical system. yes i have unhooked the black wire on the revlimiter also and the cdi at the same time but will not start unless i tap the etc and i have tried differnt gaps on the etc with no sucess ,,, i have always been told that if you can get it to run the cdi is not the problem,,, as for the stator if that was bad why would it even start ,,,

Trigger (or pulse coil) white to white/red 97 ohms. Stator should be EITHER green to black/red 440 ohms stator resistance OR if you have a red and black/red wire from stator should be 1.9 ohms resistance. All specs plus or minus 20% These plug into the cdi. This is what the pdf that I have shows,PLUS none of these wires should zero out to ground. Hope this helps you at least narrow it down a little. on the pulse coil I got a reading of 101,,, and on the stator green to black/red= nothing , green to red = 2.0 , and red to black/red = nothing

Also none of these zero out to ground

Dont know where to go from here?????
