Just curious to see some of the skill some people have.

I MADE a mistake buying a turbo kit for a DS733. Yes, that another mistake I MADE, a samcoe DS733. Oh well, I may never be able to ride it but it gives me something to try and MAKE work...

Can't necessarily say I made it, rather than made it work. Endcap mod.

Here is my latest quiet pipe. Its my favorite so far. Its a center mount under the tail light. Only a little louder than stock with the outlet closed and has a nice bark with it open. The adjustable endcap is from Drag Specialties.

The ammo can I carry in my 6-pack rack blocks the taillight, so I bent up a strip of aluminum sheet, and mounted a small LED brake light to it, and wired it up. Since EVERYONE I ride with is always behind me, (pony up for some more HP if you don't like eating my dust, I always say to them) I had complaints that they could not see my stop light. It's recessed back into the rack so that the LED is not sticking out in a way that is easily broken. $8 mod.

I made a tire inflator similar to Metamorphosis Design Free Css Templates. I had most of the stuff laying around the garage, except a 2" solid rubber plug I picked up at the hardware store for ~$5. It works pretty good, but the heat from the exhaust melted the clear tubing. I modified it to have a 4" length of fuel/transmission rubber hose at the rubber stopper end, and that solved the problem. If you give the engine a little gas, this thing will air up a completely flat tire in a couple of minutes. Long term effects of nitric acid and ozone inside the tire are not known by me. Probably will degrade the rubber and corrode an aluminum rim, but not aggressivly. The abuse I put to the OUTSIDE of the rim and tire are probably 100x worse.

I haven't made it yet but I just bought all the steel tube and angle, etc to make a trailer for my Outlander 800R. Its primary use will be for the Outlander to tow it around working on the farm but it will be made for the Outlander to ride on it towed behind my ancient Land Cruiser.
