98 warrior 350 trouble with tie rod fitment help needed
I am having a issue with the fit of new tie rods. The problem is the tapered end is not sitting down in the accepting knuckle far enough. I can catch the nut but cannot tighten enough to align cotter pin or even close (nut just catches a few threads)I have went as far as heating the knuckle. I have no doubt that these are the correct tie rods. Any thoughts would be great i have checked the service, manual online, youtube and with machinists and nothing.
